6-Week Yoga Program:

Mindfulness Series

This is a 6-week educational program that combines an exploration of the body, mind, and the self with the exercise system of yoga. It serves to develop essential life skills such as self-awareness, self-regulation, self-confidence, concentration and compassion through postures, partner work, yoga games, meditations/visualizations and themed crafts. Students will learn how to move gracefully, breathe smoothly and deeply, and sustain their focus and concentration, while developing strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity, and emotional stability. 


The idea is to teach children these essential life skills and have fun in a non-competitive environment.This class is designed for ages 7-9 and 10-13.
